Hillel Preschool is a State Licensed Preschool that is devoted to top quality childcare and education. The preschool offers a uniquely warm and nurturing environment for children between the ages of 15 months and five years old.

We are proud to offer a warm, caring and creative Jewish environment where each child’s

 individuality is valued and nurtured. At Hillel Preschool, we focus on the children’s emotional

and social growth (i.e. problem solving, listening, self-expression and cooperative skills). We

believe that learning should be fun, active and engaging, while building a strong foundation

for future learning, living and lasting relationships. Finally, Judaism is taught in such a

manner that all children feel comfortable regardless of home religious observance.

Teaching Staff

We are accredited by North Carolina State Department of Education.  All teachers meet

Hillel’s education requirements, and possess the personal qualities necessary for an early

childhood program.   We offer a highly favorable student to teacher ratio.

Curriculum

At Hillel Preschool, your child will be offered a comprehensive curriculum that includes reading readiness, concepts in numbers, science and social studies. These are taught through music, art creative play and hands on activities, integrated with a central concept or theme developed from the Jewish and American holidays, family, community and nature. In addition, he/she will be exposed to a rich and meaningful Jewish curriculum where holidays, traditions and the Hebrew alphabet and language will be explored.

1 year old and walking, 2 year old, 3 year old, and 4 year old programs from 9:00am – 1:00pm.

Early care and Afternoon Adventures program available from 7:30am – 5:30pm.
